Some forthcoming happenings for your attention
16 April:
R C Singapore East celebrates 45th Anniversary with AVOIDABLE BLINDNESS as a major anniversary EACHI EYES programme covering in the week and beyond 6 projects:
Club Service organize an ophthalmic EYE CARE talk at the Club meeting
Vocation Service presented VOCATIONAL AWARDS to ophthalmic nurse/technicians in public hospitals.
Youth (NG) Service organized “DINE IN THE DARK EXPERIENCE” for Interators of Yishun Junior College.
International Service successfully, enagaged in Match Grant with Woverhampton UK and Pasir Gudang Malaysia in “CATARACT SURGERY” for 90 elderly poor people in Johor, Malaysia.
Community Service organizes EYE SCREENING for 150-200 elderws at the Bishan North Community.
Club AB Sub-Committee launched “EYE CARE FOR NEEDY 100 CHILDREN” requiring medication, eye wear and essential surgery.

17 April
R C Sentose in conjunction with the opening of the new Senja-Cashew Community Centre in Bukit Panjang, organizes a Dental-Eye Screening Clinic to benefit some 150 elders and also provind eye wear vouches for 100 needy children.

General:
DG Abraham has confirmed his special “DG-Abraham-EACHI EYES Award” to be given to any CLUB fulfilling the requirements of the programme before 31 July 2011. This Award is not competitive.

ONE Club has qualified for the Award. Please file in your reports to the District Chairman.
