Increasing Membership

Membership of Rotarians world wide is decreasing .
What are clubs doing to try and increase membership ?

Our club which, is Rotary Club of Dar es Salaam Oysterbay has increased its membership over the last few years to become the biggest club in terms of size in Tanzania. The way in which we have managed this is by members actively scouting for new members but the most significant manner in which we have increased our number is as a result of our fellowship and the types of social gatherings we have to promote fellowship within our club and the other Rotary Clubs in Dar es Salaam. Such socials are almost a bi monthly event . On the back of this and the number of service projects that we undertake annually our numbers keep growing. This of course is a result of effective and proficient leadership.
