Make Up Guidelines
How To Do Your Make Ups
Rotary E-Club of 3310 has been approved [COL/COP 2010] by Rotary International.
As a Cyber Club, Rotary E-Club of 3310 is permitted to explore new, "innovative and flexible constitutional provisions" that may not be in conformity with the Standard Rotary Club Constitution.
Rotarians visiting Rotary E-Club of 3310 to do make ups have one of two options.
(A) Log-in and participate in the Forum Section.
Under the Manual of Procedure 2010, Rotarians are required to spend at least 30 minutes surfing on-line to qualify for make ups.
As you "log-out", a Rotarian shall be asked whether he requires a make up card. Have your Club President's or Secretary's email address handy. After completion of the on-line form, an electronic make up card shall be forwarded to his Rotary Club. A second back up copy is sent to the visiting Rotarian.
(B) Alternatively, a Rotary visitor can challenge the more demanding on-line MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions) assessment.
To clear this hurdle, the visiting Rotarian needs to read the necessary article and answer five (5) MCQ. If he secures at least 60% accuracy, the visitor is rewarded with a make up card. Failing which, he shall be re-directed to re-read the article for another attempt.
Although the latter may appear the easier route (in term of time spent on-line), we encourage you to give it a shot.
We welcome feedback!
Tan May Yan: President of Rotary E-Club of 3310
Do your Multiple Choice Questions Make-up here!
This is my first visit to this e-club - I have been a Rotarian since 1974 and have perfect attendance for 35 years. I have travelled extensively through my business as a travel agent (since sold) and have visited about 70 International Clubs throughout the world and many in Australia - have made up at several times in Singapore. I have been to several International Conventions, and once for a dare I attended a Regional Conference in Caracas, Venezuela. I have a couple of e-club make-ups at London E-club. Seeing your club, and being much closer I decided to visit here. I am unable to comment on the outcome but to this point I have had no trouble - as for finishing I have my fingers closed.
Make-up of a meeting is very important to me and this idea of "e-club" is a great idea. Rotary International is an outstanding organisation and has a "great history of doing good". I have held all positions in our Club (Innisfail, Queensland) and am Past President and am a Paul Harris Fellow
Hi All, I feel vey happy to be part of Rotary.Cheers Santanu
Electronic Make-ups - MCQ
I see some of the articles are out of date. Only if someone can update them it will be great. I just read the lesson 28 for make up and it should be a few years old. Its talking about council meeting in 2007 at Chicago.
I attended the Centennial Rotary Conference in Chicago in 2005 while I was a Centennial Club President.
Lessons are generally very informative and interesting. Thank you for making this possible.
